Mr Steve Parks is world wide director of marketing for the analog group at Texas Instruments Incorporated. He is responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts of TI’s complete high-performance portfolio of data converters, amplifiers, power management IC’s and interface/clocking products.With more than 25 years experience working in the analog IC industry, his professional experience includes a variety of senior management positions in sales, marketing, applications, engineering, business development, and new product planning. Parks holds a BSEE from Lafayette College and a MSEE from Lehigh University.

Texas Instruments, based in Dallas, Texas, is the world's largest supplier of Mixed Signal and Analog Integrated Circuit Products.

Dr. Ajay Mathur is Director General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, and a member of the Prime Minister's Council on Climate Change.As Director General of BEE, Dr. Mathur coordinates the national energy efficiency programme, including the standards and labeling programme for equipment and appliances; the energy conservation building code; the industrial energy efficiency programme, and the DSM programmes in the buildings, lighting, and municipal sectors.

Prior to joining BEE, Dr. Mathur has worked on energy research, financing, and implementation. He has headed the World Bank's Climate Change Team in Washington, DC; and the Energy Engineering Division of TERI in New Delhi; and has also been President of Suzlon Energy Limited.

Dr Mathur received his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Roorkee, and PhD from the University of Illinois. He received the Outstanding Alumni Award of the University of Illinois in 2002.

Dr. Mathur is the coauthor of three books, and lead author of several reports of the IPCC, the joint winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

Dr. M V Ramana Rao has over 20 years of rich experience in the field of embedded systems, parallel processing, multilingual software & Information Communication Technologies industry in product design & development, marketing and business development. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Andhra University College of Engineering, Master of Engineering (Applied Electronics) from PSG College of Technology & Ph.D (Electronics & Communication Engineering) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University .

Prior to promotion of MIC Electronics Limited, he worked about 2 years as lecturer in VRS Engineering College & KL College of Engineering, in A.P. and teaching various subjects in Micro Computers and guided more than 10 projects in the field of embedded Micro controllers.

He has several years of managerial experience in running the organization successfully as CEO. He is a Fellow of IETE and Member of IE (I) & ISTE.He was invited as a speaker and chair person at several national and international technical forums like Institute of Electronics and Telecom Engineers, Institute of Engineers , India , International Trade Business Meetings, Seong Nam Business Korea.

Ms Akanksha Chaurey experience in the field of promotion and use of renewable energy for sustainable development is spread over 20 years. Her area of expertise is off-grid rural electrification and Distributed generation. She began her career with TERI in September 1987 and was involved in projects related to technology and market assessment of renewables, specifically Solar Photovoltaics. Having worked with TERI for over 5½ years, Ms Chaurey felt the need to gain valuable industry experience. She spent the next 4 years as Director of Sairam Solar, a company, designing, integrating and installing solar and wind energy systems for decentralized applications. Subsequently, she spent two years as a renewable energy consultant working specifically on the commercialization of these technologies. In July 1999, Ms Chaurey joined back TERI and now works on projects dealing with distributed generation and supply of electricity for off-grid applications. Ms Chaurey has Masters of Science degree in Physics and Masters in Technology in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. She is also registered as a part-time doctoral scholar with the Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She has over 25 technical publications in Journals and conference proceedings and several research reports to her credit.

Mr Ajay Goel is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Goldwyn Limited. He is an Electronics Engineer by qualification from a leading engineering college. He is having a rich experience in all the areas of engineering process with managerial responsibility. He is also the General Secretary of NSEZ (Noida Special Economic Zone) and an elected representative of Indian Exporters in Export Promotion Council for Special Economic Zones.

His focus on research and development coupled with his constant emphasis on promoting energy conservation and environmental preservation has enabled the group to develop products for consumers that offer great value for money.

Mr Peter Di Maso joined Texas Instruments in 2006 as product manager for isolated telecom power controller products.Peter is now responsible for strategic roadmap and market development of LED lighting power controllers at TI. Peter pioneered TI’s introduction into AC/DC LED lighting. With a small team Peter created reference designs, defined new products and formed partnerships with key LED lighting innovators.These efforts planted the seed that led to formation of the new Lighting Power Products line at TI. Peter’s previous experience is in design, field applications, sales and marketing. Peter’s passion lies in seeing energy efficiency take form in the use of LED technology for general lighting.

Dr. Zhengting HE received BSEE from Electrical Engineering Department at Tsingha University, China in 2000. He received his MSEE and Ph.D in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at the University of Texas - Austin, USA in 2002 and 2007. His research directions are hardware/software co-simulation and real-time operating system. Zhengting He joined in Texas Instruuents in 2004 as an application engineer. His focus has been on video/audio based application and power protection systems. He has worked on a variety of TI processors including C6x, C5x, and OMAP.

Mr Murugavel Raju currently leads the World-wide Strategic Marketing and End Equipment Marketing for the microcontroller product group at Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX. He is a Senior Member, Technical Staff at TI with over 20-years of embedded systems experience. He was the Worldwide winner of the first Texas Instruments Analog Challenge in 1999 (http://www.ti.com/sc/cash). His hobbies include digital photography and astronomy. Prior to his positions at Texas Instruments he founded Muteck Systems in India where he led the development of several embedded products including medical diagnostics and industrial automation equipment. His medical products included bed-side monitoring, centralized patient monitoring, Spirometers and Pulsoximeters. His award winning project for the Texas Instruments analog contest was a portable wireless EKG monitoring system.

In his current role at Texas Instruments his team is responsible for applying appropriate market and emerging technology intelligence to the New Product Development process and roadmap definition for catalog microcontrollers. One of Murugavel’s top goals include identification of innovative developers in the embedded field and closely associate with them in refining their product configuration at a very early stage in the product life cycle, at the same time applying top industrial differentiation by solving end user’s problems with unique outside of the box ideas.

Murugavel has a BSEE (1987) from Annamalai University at Chidambaram, India.

Mr Balakrishna is with TI india for past four years and worked in different capacities from sr. Field Applications Engineer to Applications Manager. He has been in Power supply design and development for last eighteen years. He has developed various power supplies ranging from few watts to kilowatts catering to defense, telecom and Industrial applications.

Mr Salil Chellappan is working as Lead Engineer in Design Services group of Texas Instruments India. He has over 19 years' experience in the field of Analog and Power Electronics. He has worked with companies like GE Healthcare, Power Integrations, NEST Power and Bharat Electronics in the past.

Mr Swaroop Bolar is All India Marketing Manager - Luminaires at Crompton Greeves. He has over 25 years of experience in the lighting industry covering Lighting Design, Sales and Marketing. He is responsible for developing the LED product range at Crompton Greeves.

Swaroop holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mysore.

Mr Rabindra Kumar Satpathy is the President, Solar Energy Business Development at Reliance Industries, Mumbai. He has a professional experience of more than 25 years in the areas of solar photovoltaic power systems, wind power generation and others. He is an electrical engineer with specialization in Solar Photovoltaics.

He has been instrumental in designing and supervising successful commissioning of solar PV power plants in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and many other countries. He has managed several groups on PV system engineering, sales/projects teams in India and Asia Pacific region. He has published 29 technical papers pertaining to design and application of solar PV systems and related areas and holds some patents for solar PV products.
